[Class 81(ii)] An artificial hand is provided with a device moveable perpendicularly to the surface of the hand for holding a pencil or other instrument against lateral movement. One form consists of a wire loop a, through which the pencil may be passed. When not in use the loop is pressed in close to the surface of the palm part b of the hand.
