Abstract

634,540. Draining board. HARTINGTON ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., and STRINGER, G. B. Dec. 17, 1947, No. 33354. [Class 28(ii)] A draining board (Fig. 1, being a view from below) comprises a tray 1 to rest on the rim of a sink, and covering the whole of the sink, the tray having at least one draining hole 7, the tray surfaces sloping down towards such opening. The tray may be provided with lugs 11 to 14 movable to fit various sizes of sinks, or the rim recess 9 may have suitable spring or screw fixings. Flutes or grooves 6 slope down towards the drain hole, the parts near the hole 7 sloping more steeply than the outer parts. The board may be of pressed out metal or moulded plastic.
