631,395. Dielectric heating. COMMUNICATIONS PATENTS, Ltd., and YOULE, F. Feb. 14, 1947, No. 4399. [Class 39(iii)] A method of cooking bread and like substances by dielectric loss in a R.F. field comprises adding extra heat by radiation or conduction from a separate source of heat not energized by the R.F. field, to the outer surfaces of the bread to form a crust. The additional heat may be provided simultaneously or before, or after, the dielectric heating.
