Abstract
627,261. Packages. BURGESS, A. F. (United Wallpaper, Inc.). Oct. 8, 1946, No. 30012. [Class 94(i)] A package comprises two rolls of wallpaper 10, 11, one of which is composed of a strip of paper of length greater than the strip of paper comprising the other of said rolls, the roll 11 of said shorter strip of paper being rolled on a cylindrical core 12 of diameter such that the external diameter of the roll is equal to the external diameter of the roll 10, said two rolls of paper 10, 11, being placed in end-to-end engagement with their axes in alignment, and a transparent wrapper, such as a prepared cellulosic film 13, encloses said rolls 10, 11, the decorative surfaces being outside. An end disc 17, on which may be printed matter, acts as a surface to form the folds 15 and defines a space 18 for accommodating literature. The core 12 may be omitted. The longer roll may also be wrapped on a core. Specification 578,056, [Group X], is referred to.
