625,475. Draught excluders. DAVIES, D. E., and STEELE, T. March 14, 1947, No. 7095. [Class 20(iii)] A draught excluder for a door comprises a floor-engaging strip 13 suspended from a link 29 the opposite ends of which are connected to other links 28. The other end of one link 28 is pivoted to a fixed point and the other end of the other link 28 is pivoted to a spring-pressed plunger 17 which projects from the door when the latter is open and contacts the jamb or a stop thereon when the door closes. In a modification the central link 29 is omitted, the links 28 being pivoted directly to the strip 13 and in a further modification instead of one link 28 being pivoted to a fixed point, both are pivoted to spring- pressed plungers.
