[Class 43] An ornamental article, e.g. a hair-slide, comb, buckle or brooch, comprises a moulded plastic base having an integral projection, on which is mounted a separately-formed ornament shaped, for example, like a flower, and which extends through the ornament to form a part thereof, e.g. the centre of the flower. The upper surface 11 of a base 10, moulded from white or pale-coloured plastic, is shaped to resemble a bow and is provided with four integral projections 15 having rounded ends. Four brightlycoloured ornaments 16, shaped like flowers and, for example, moulded from plastic, each have a central aperture and are mounted on'the projections 15, the ends of which project through the apertures to represent the centres of the flowers. The ornaments 16 may be glued to the projections 15 ; alternatively heads may be formed at the ends of the projections when the ornaments 16 are in position.
