[Class 132 (ii)] [Also in Group XVIII] An amusement machine comprises a plurality of inclined tracks 16 visible through a window 2 and having apertures 20 through which a coin or disc projected up the tracks by strikers 47 on a bar 53 operated by a handle 5 may run into the next lower track and in the case of the lowest track into a delivery chute 9. The handle 5 is operated causing a pin 47 to project the coin &c., up the track to the opening 20 and, if the blow is of suitable strength, the coin passes therethrough into the channel 37 whence it is fed to the second track to be struck by another pin 47 and thus delivered ultimately to the shoot 9. If the coin is struck too hard, it runs over the end of the track and falls on to a deflector plate 58 and then to the bottom of the machine. The striking lever 53 is influenced by a spring 55 and the track assembly is mounted on battens 48 on a plate 49 hinged to the machine frame. The tracks may be adjusted in position. The coin mechanism may reject coins of unsuitable size or may be arranged so that insertion of a coin frees playing discs. A counter may be provided to record the number of operations of the strikers 47.
