619,189. Manufacture of reflectors. HINDLE, J. S. Nov. 26, 1946, No. 35000. [Class 97 (i)] A telescope mirror has supporting ribs 2 at the back and grooves 1 at the junctions of the ribs with each other and with the mirror surface to allow the ribs to follow changes of temperature without distorting the mirror. The mirror and ribs are formed of metal in one operation by casting.
