[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, May 9, 1946.] [Class 81 (ii)] [Also in Group XIV] Shears for removing surgical plaster comprise a counter blade 1 formed by one end of an arm 2, and two cutters 3, 3a secured to opposite sides of a member 4 pivoted on the arm 2 at 5 and operated by a further arm 2a so that the cutters co-operate with the lateral edges of the counter blade 1 to remove a strip of plaster. The member 4 carries teeth 10 engaged by teeth 9 on the arm 2a which is pivoted on the arm 2 at 8 ; a blade 13 mounted on the member 4 guides the strip cut out away from the shears.
