Abstract

617,718. Centrifugal machines. AKTIEBOLAGET SEPARATOR. Oct. 23, 1946, No. 31483. Convention date, March 1, 1945. [Class 23] In a centrifugal bowl having a number of butyrometer test tubes supported in a rack consisting in a number of superimposed plates 3 arranged in the bowl an arrangement is provided for ensuring that the angular speed of the water in the bowl during operation corresponds to the angular speed of the bowl. The arrangement consists in providing conveying or guiding means for the water in the form of vanes 12, 14, arranged between the upper wall 10 of the bowl and the rack 3, or vanes 18 arranged between the lower wall 19 of the bowl and the rack 3. Alternatively both sets of vanes may be provided.
