617,035. Baking tins. NELKEN, M. Sept. 26, 1946, No. 28766. [Class 66] The sides A of a cake-baking tin are held together by a hasp c which passes through holes in the flanges of a hinged, channelled tongue C<2> which is moved over to the right to force the inner end a<1> of the sides A to slide to the right and contact the tin so that the bottom B is securely held, e.g. in a groove a4 substantially at the level of the lower edge of the sides A. The grooves a<3>, a<4>, or prongs and sockets may act as guides. After baking, the sides are expanded and removed &c. for cooling the cake. A rectangular tin may have such a fastening at one or two sides.
