Abstract

615,465. Domestic skein holders. ATIN, 1. L. April 10, 1946, No. 11044. [Class 120(ii)] A device for use in manually winding a skein of yarn into a ball comprises a base A carrying a swivel pin C on which is threaded a U-shaped carrier D in the upturned sides d of which are formed elongated slots e in which hook-shaped overlapping skein-supporting arms E, E' are relatively adjustable. A similar pair of arms F, F<SP>1</SP> may be provided between the arms E, E' and the base of the carrier. The parts may be held in their adjusted positions by screwing the stem c of the pin C into the .carrier.
