[Class 37] A rectifier element is maintained in a horizontal position during the electroforming process so as to enable a higher voltage and current to be used without allowing the melted counter-electrode material to run off. The voltage may be brought up to approximately 30 volts in half to one minute, the forming time at this voltage being three to four minutes.
