Abstract

In arrangements for spraying liquid or dust from helicopters, the material is introduced into the forward part of the downwash of the rotors. Forwardly projecting nozzles arranged beneath the rotor hubs may be supplied with liquid or dust from a pump. In modifications, arcuate spray bars may be disposed below the forward part of the rotors. Specification 612,498 is referred to.
