Abstract

Parts of water meters in contact with the water are formed of a synthetic plastic material, e.g. polystyrol, polyvinyl chloride, polyamides, or polyacrylates, in which is incorporated not more than 40 per cent of the total mixture of graphite. For movable parts the mixture contains at least 10 per cent, and for stationary parts at least 25 per cent of graphite. Specification 596,837 is referred to.
