[Class 83 (iv)] [Also in Group XVI] A stop motion device for a press comprises a spring-pressed slide 10 with roller 12 engaging the edge of the work-piece 6. When the strip fails the roller 12 moves inwards to actuate a clutch lever 17 through a lever 16 to stop the press.
