[Class 40 (iv) [Also in Group XL (c)] The loud-speaker of a radio-receiver for use in a motor car or other vehicle is mounted on an axis inclined to the top and bottom of the receiver casing, so that the sound output is directed towards the floor of the vehicle. The loud-speaker 8 is mounted on the front 2 of the receiver casing 1, which is inclined at an angle of 45 to 60 degrees to the bottom of the casing. The control knobs and tuning indicator of the receiver are carried by a panel 3, which is mounted forwardly of the front 2, and may be arranged to project below the dashboard of a car, or through a hole in the dashboard. The control knobs on the panel 3 are coupled to the receiver by shafts or flexible drives projecting through the front 2.
