Abstract

600,121. Wringers. FOLLOWS & BATE, Ltd., and McMILLAN, D. Nov. 30, 1945. Nos. 32413/45 and 8158/46. [Class 138(ii)] A drip-tray G is mounted in a wringing- machine by means of a short stud M which is provided on each end pillar and engages a single slot formed at each end of the tray, the slot K, Fig. 4, at one end of the tray being of elongated-closed form, and the slot L, Fig. 5, at the other end being substantially L-shaped with one end open. The slots K; L are provided in end brackets H, J on the ends of the tray. An additional stud N is fixed below each stud M for engaging depressions O, which are situated below the slots K, L, in the brackets when the tray is in operative position and serve to support the tray so that it is inclined downwardly and inwardly towards the central trough D of the machine. A further open slot Q is provided in the curved end of each bracket H, J for engaging the studs N when the tray is in the inoperative vertical position. If desired, a tray G is provided at each side of the machine as shown in Fig. 3.
