Abstract

595,781. Drawing. WELLMAN SMITH OWEN ENGINEERING CORPORATION, Ltd., and BROOKS, C. July 2, 1945, No. 16834. Drawings to Specification. [Class 83 (iv)] In apparatus for drawing metal tubes, having two mandrels adapted to be moved from a loading position to a drawing position in alignment with the die, each mandrel has anchoring means which is capable of fine adjustment to vary the position of the mandrel at the die and which is associated with a fluid operated piston to effect the advance or withdrawal of the mandrel. The apparatus is as described in Specification 595,782 (see Fig. 3). Specifications 595,778, 595,779 and 595,780 also are referred to.
