[Class 69 (ii)] A hydraulic coupling comprises a number of liquid circuits 48 nested one within the other. Shrouds 32 arranged concentrically on opposite walls of the impeller casing 16 co-operate with similar shrouds on opposite faces of the runner 44 to form the circuits.
