[Class 87(i)] [Also in Group V] Bricks are scored before firing by a machine which produces diagonal V-section grooves, “ to # inch apart and 1/16 to # inch deep, on two or more faces. The bricks may then be coated with sand of between 40 and 200 mesh B.S.S. preferably containing a ferric oxide.
