Abstract

593,470. Garment-renewing machines. MACBRIDE, C. G. Sept. 16, 1944, No. 17757. Drawings to Specification. [Class 42 (i)] A garment-renewing machine of the type in which the fabric to be treated is placed upon a support and is pressed upon by a rotary rubbing face to which fluid may be supplied between the face and the fabric, is provided with a pressure gauge and at least one rotary garmentrenewing device which is axially movable and is operatively connected to the gauge so as to cause the gauge to give an indication of the pressure of the device on the garment. The machine described in the Specification is substantially identical with that described in Specification 593,469 to which reference is made. Specification 481,719 also is referred to.
