Abstract

593,096. Cursors. DUNKLEY & DAVIDSON, Ltd., and ARCHER, L. B. May 7, 1945, No. 11638. [Class 106 (i)] [Also in Group XX] A cursor 2 in the form of a synthetic resin moulding or extrusion is shaped to embrace a lenticular sectioned draughtsmen's scale (see Group XX) and is provided with a hair line 6 and leaf springs 3 to grip the edge of the scale 1. The cursor may carry a vernier scale and may be in two parts, one part being clamped to the scale 1 or having a plunger to engage holes or slots in the scale and the other part being moved relatively to the clamped part by a micrometer screw.
