Abstract
In a machine of the kind in which material is displaced within a chamber by a paddle, worm or like device, the paddle &c., and /or the chamber, are of metal and have a sheathing of non-metallic tough resilient material of high tensile strength. The material may be rubber, polyisobutylene, polybutadiene, neoprene, a plasticized vinyl resin &c., and may be cemented or vulcanized to the metal.ALSO:In a machine of the kind in which material is displaced within a chamber by a paddle, worm or like device, the paddle &c., and/or the chamber, are of metal and have a sheathing of non-metallic tough resilient material of high tensile strength.
