[Class 28 (i)] A carrier for supporting meat in baking or roasting tins is made of wire bent so as to form one or more upwardly projecting prongs which are cranked or bent to support the food and are carried by a base which stands on the bottom of the tin. In the form shown, having a Z-shaped plan, a pair of prongs C stands from base members A joined by a raised meat-supporting bridge B. Other forms are described in which a pair of prongs are carried on an S-shaped base or a single prong on a circular or similar base. In a further modification a plurality of prongs projects upwards from a flat metal base. The points of the prongs may be of taper or wedge shape.
