In a cutter-loader combination for mining, the projecting part 4 of the conveyer has an extension 4a pivoted to the base 5 below the ramp 6 whereby it may be adjus-. ted for flitting; the comb-guards 3, and a plate 2, over which runs the conveyer belt 1, have pivoted sections 3a, 2a, to facilitate breaking both runs of the belt 1 before such adjustment.
