Abstract

586,898. Dressing-cases. POWELL, F. Nov. 23, 1944, No. 23287. [Classes 18 and 1331 [Also in Group XXV] A dressing-case is provided with clamping- members for detachably securing articles therein comprising in combination a pair of upstanding members secured to a projecting frame or wall and on which slides a cross-bar having tubular partitions for this purpose and spring means to keep the cross-bar under tension. As shown, upstanding members 18 of a U-shaped bracket 19 secured to a board 20 of wood, metal, cardboard or synthetic resin and covered with leather or other material 21 are provided on which slide tubular portions 17 of a cross-bar 12 under the action of spring 23 housed in an outer channel part 22 of tubular portion 17. The cross-bar .may be of channel section embracing a strip of leather or other soft material 14.
