Abstract

586,415. Insulating bushes. EMERY, F. D., EMERY, E. F., BRIAN, F. C., and INSULOID MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd. Feb. 8, 1945, No. 3188. [Class 36] An insulated bush consists of a short length of tube a, Fig. 1, with a flange c and a groove b, and is secured on a plain hole in a partition or plate x by means of a ring d of elastic material which is placed in the groove b after insertion of the bush. Alternatively, Fig. 3, grooves and elastic rings are provided at each end of the tube and the flange is dispensed with. In another form, both ends of the tube are bell mouthed, the elastic ring being fitted at the smaller end only. Specifications 23877/00, [Class 36], 554,167, and 555,302 are referred to.
