Abstract

586,400. Boxes. LIND, T. F. Dec. 8, 1944, No. 24652. [Class 18] A box for carrying hats or wearing apparel has a handle 47 cut from its top panel 10. The aperture so left coincides with another aperture 54 in a flap portion 19 overlying the top panel. The box is made from a single blank. The handle resembles an elongated strap, one end 52 being contiguous with the top panel 10, the other having a head 50 and shoulders 51 which engage beneath the top panel and through the aperture 54 in the flap portion 19 when the handle is bowed upwards. A pair of opposed ears 55 are foldably connected to the flap 19 and extend between the ends of the handle strap, when the latter is in the carrying position.
