Abstract

585,269. Furniture feet. CONSTRUCTORS, Ltd.; and FINER, H. J. April 21, 1944, No. 7468. [Class 52 (i)] Metal furniture is mounted on feet 1, 2 which are inset all round from the body portion of the article and are of continuous peripheral contour. As applied to a metal desk the feet comprise two pressed-out sides 5 with rounded ends welded together at the joints 6, 7 and a cap 8 welded along its margin 9 to the side pieces. The cap preferably has pressed therein bosses 22 to contact the floor and the foot is internally stiffened by gussets 10, 11 and provided with attachment lugs 12, 13.
