Abstract

584,715. Shade holders. BENJAMIN ELECTRIC, Ltd., and HERBERT, G. Jan. 23, 1945, No. 1808. [Class 75 (ii)] A shade holder, of resilient and preferably thermosetting plastic moulded material adapted to be inserted into an aperture in a shade from beneath, comprises a bridge member 3 and two or more depending legs 4 to engage the shade with spring action, the legs being provided with feet 5 to support the shade. The effective depth of the feet 5 is increased by shallow grooves 7, extending across the lower parts of the legs and above which may be provided projections 6 which merge into the legs at their upper extremities. The feet 5 and projections 6 do not extend across the full width of the legs but are cut away opposite to each other. Specification 447,691 is referred to.
