584,080. Moulding baby soothers. MIDDLETON, F. A. Nov. 23, 1944, No. 23276. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group VI] The guard 7 of a baby soother is moulded in plastic, preferably thermoplastic, material in a mould 5, 8 around the open end 2 of the rubber teat 1, which may be closed by a conical plug 3 of the same plastic material, to form an interlocked integral unit. The guard may have a boss 9 which is channelled to receive a split ring handle. Alternatively a handle with or without a guard may be moulded around the teat.
