[Class 75 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXVI] A fitting suitable for a tubular discharge lamp b comprises an inverted trough-shaped body a having' a chamber c formed at one or both ends, open at its upper side to permit the insertion of a component f attached to the supporting means g and containing terminals for the supply leads. Mechanical interengagement of the component f and fitting a is effected by moving the latter endwise (see Group XXXVI). For a fitting having a chamber c at one end only, the other end may be provided with a hook and eye or other supporting means.
