581,550. High - tension switches. MASCHINENFABRIK OERLIKON. Feb. 2, 1945, No. 2701. Convention date, Feb. 4, 1944. [Class 38 (v)] Detachable contact devices for column-insulator type circuit-breakers, comprise spring - loaded conductors 1, 1<1>, secured to an insulating tube 5 so as resiliently to engage both the cable connections 7, 7<1> and the movable contact 9. The conductors 1, 1<1> are loaded by springs 2, 2<1>, and guided by support bolts 3, 3<1>. The tube 5 is attached to a cap 6, and may be withdrawn from the insulator 8.
