Abstract
580,272. Nails. TABAKMAN, H. D., and TOEMAN, C. May 18, 1944, No. 9543. [Class 89 (ii)] The shanks of nails have one or more longitudinal grooves increasing in depth from the point to the head. The grooves may be of V- section, being shallow near the point as shown in Fig. 5, and deeper near the head, as in Fig. 2. The grooves may be arcuate or of other shape provided that the surface area of the groove decreases from head to point.
