Abstract

579,637. Filters. DEHN, F. B. (Silex Co.). Feb. 8, 1945, No. 3219. [Class 46] A filter frame suitable for use with a coffeemaker is made of wire and comprises an upwardly-extending handle 9, Figs. 1 and 2, a ring-shaped portion 10 and an arched projecting portion 12 the point of which is passed through the filter cloth. The ring portion clamps the cloth against the sides of a recess 8 in the bowl 5 and the portion 12 supports the cloth away from the outlet 6. In the construction shown in Fig. 6 the projection 12a has a hook 21 supporting the centre portion of the cloth.
