Abstract
578,813. Ironing-boards. BARRASS, A. J. E. March 9, 1944, No. 4397. [Class 138 (ii)] [Also in Group XIV] A built-in wall cabinet has a lower cupboard portion closed-off by a door 8, and an upper portion closed-off by an ironing-board 5 which can be swung down to an operative horizontal position. The pivots of the ironing-board are on a block 5A secured to its inner end and this block engages under a transverse frame member 7 to hold it in its horizontal position. When closed, the ironing-board lies flush with the frame members and with its tapered end between fillets 1A, 2A on the frame.
