575,653. Positioning devices. COUNSELL, R. O. March 23, 1944, No. 5430. [Class 97 (iii)] [Also in Group X] A positioning device for rod, bar or wire reinforcements for concrete &c. has, to support the rod &c. 6, two converging faces 1, 3 which would meet, if produced, on the nearest face of the concrete at 2, so that the rod whatever its thickness is held at a distance proportional to its diameter from such face. The faces 1, 3 may be rounded off to meet at 4 to establish a distance of minimum cover. The device may be constructed of bent sheet metal or wire.
