Abstract

574,159. Condensers. SPORING, P. A., and TELEGRAPH CONDENSER CO.. Ltd. April 12, 1944, No. 6720. [Class 37] A casing for a condenser &c. comprises a tube 1, one or both ends being closed by a disc 4 which rests on an internal beading 5. The disc is secured in position by the spinning over of the edge of the tube. The beading is interrupted at one or more places so that it constitutes a number of arc-shaped portions. The internal surface of the disc is provided with projections 7 corresponding in number, size and location, and fitting into the interruptions in the beading to prevent rotation of the disc in the casing as when attaching to a baseplate by screwing nut 9.
