[Class 41] In obtaining anodic coatings on aluminium or other wire &c. by a continuous process the current flow at the point of entry into the bath is controlled or distributed by introducing the wire into a tube h of glass or other non-conducting material formed with a constriction i and provided with three or more branches, branch j being for the introduction of cool electrolyte, k for overflow, and l for gas evolution.
