Abstract
569,285. Piezo-electric crystals. PATELHOLD PATENTVERWERTUNGS- & ELEKTRO-HOLDING AKT.-GES. Nov. 15, 1943, No. 19017. Convention date, Nov. 22, 1942. [Class 40 (v)] A piezo-electric device is characterised in that it comprises a piezo-electric crystal formed of a substance which belongs to the group of salts which is isomorphous with primary potassium phosphate (KH2PO4). Examples of isomorphous salts are potassium arsenate and the phosphate and arsenate of ammonium. Primary potassium deutero phosphate (KD 2PO 4) is also mentioned. The crystal may be used in oscillators, filters, relays, acoustic translating devices, oscillographs and piezometers.
