Abstract
568,835. Air filters. HOLT, S., and WARD, C. V. Oct. 26, 1943, No. 17636. [Class 8 (ii)] Air to be cleaned passes directly through one part of a filter screen a cooperating with a wiper e moving relatively overits surface, either the screen or the wiper being revolved, and a portion of the screen lies in a dead space wherein the extracted dust, fluff, &c. falls by gravity and from which it is removed by a rotary sealed valve &c. The wiper and the valve may be driven in unison. The Provisional Specification states that the flow of air may .drive the screen through an impeller.
