568,783. Wind motors. LUMSDEN, R. G., ALSTON, T., and WEBSTER, G. W., (trading as SCOTTISH ELECTROMILL CO.). Oct. 18, 1943, No. 17050. [Class 110 (iii)] Air brakes for a windmill comprise plates 11, attached to, or geared to, the windmil rotor, the plates being unbalanced so that as angular speed increases beyond a pre determined figure, the plate: assume the positions shown dotted, the movements being resisted by springs 14. Stop 13, to retain plates in normal neutral, positions, are pro vided. Links 15 couple the plates together.
