Abstract

567,951. Horticultural frames. CRAYDEN, S. Sept. 1, 1943, No. 14267. [Class 20 (i)] A cloche comprising glass &c. sheets 6 inclined towards each other in inverted V-form and having a longitudinal gap at the apex or capable of being sprung apart to provide such a gap has a trough-shaped closed-ended receptacle 1 positioned in the gap and communicating by a narrow neck 3 with a chamber 4 within the cloche so that liquid received by the trough 1 may be distributed through perforations 5 to the plants &c. .covered by the cloche. The trough may be of glass, metal, or of the material known under the Registered Trade Mark "Bakelite." The neck portion 3 may be slightly tapered longitudinally to facilitate the positioning of the trough.
