Abstract
567,426. Condensers. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd., and HOLMES, R. G. D. March 11, 1943, No. 4005. [Class 37] Means to lengthen the moisture-leakage path to the element inside a tubular condenser are applied to the connecting wires at the point of junction with the element, the whole being then encased in polymerized ethylene, e.g. the substance known under the Registered Trade Mark " Alkathene," or a mixture therewith of polymerized butadiene or isobutylene, or natural or synthetic rubber. The means may comprise metal washers, metal cups, or coatings or sleeves of rubber or like material. Specification 563,500 is referred to.
