[Class 100 (iv)] A dust cover for the framework aperture in which the ribbon vibrator operates, consists of a plate bent to the angle of the top plate of the machine and provided with two shaped fingers which tuck under the writing-line gauge. The cover rests on the top plate and has a small hole for the ribbon-throw check-screw, the nut of which is used to secure the cover.
