[Class 36] A fluid - filled pipe-line 6 loosely containing an electric cable 2 is surrounded by a pipeline 10 containing water 12 to lessen fire risks on escape of the fluid 8. The water dissipates the heat generated in the cable and may be salt water to prevent freezing. The water may be circulated by a pump.
