564,460. Attenuation equalizers. PYRAH, F. June 11, 1943, No. 9432. [Class 40 (iii)] An adjustable attenuation equalizer for use as a shunt across transmission lines comprises an adjustable resistance R and an adjustable inductance L, more or less of which can be shunted by a fixed condenser C. In. the arrangement shown in Fig. 3, the inductance has n turns and is tapped, the sections having n/10, n/20 turns as indicated. The resistance is tapped so that the resistance of each section is double that of the preceding section.
