564,123. Chimneys. DARBY, H. G. Nov. 18, 1942, No. 16284. [Class 25] A chimney flue 12 is built up of a number of tubular elements 13 connected by spigot and socket joints and terminates in a tubular stack portion 15 having a box-like discharge portion 19 provided with discharge openings 20. The portion 19 may be parallel to the plane of the roof, as shown, or it may be at right angles to the stack portion 15. A flange 18 on the stack portion is adapted to be secured to the roof. The interior of the stack portion may be provided with helical ribs 17. Specification 564,122 is referred to.
