[Class 45] [Also in Group XIV] A wire mattress for beds &c, is made up of wires 1, 2, 3, formed into loops 4 which are interlocked with one another as shown and mounted in a frame. The loops are longer than the spaces between them. The wires at the base of the loops are bent up, Fig. 2, and/or the top of the loops may be bent down to enable the loops to nest into one another where they interlock.
